A new jailbreak app called iTransmission (free) allows users to download torrents on their iOS device. The application is open-source and currently in its alpha stage of development, meaning users may encounter a few bugs when using the software. However, as noted by Cult of Mac, the app appears to work great, allowing users to very easily download torrent files on their iOS device over Wi-Fi or a cellular data network. Eventually, the app will offer users three different ways to download a torrent: URL, Filesystem (which currently is not available) and Magnet. Ongoing downloads can be viewed in the app, and iTransmission reportedly works very well over AT&T's network. For a full walkthrough of the app, be sure to check out Cult of Mac's original article. And you can download iTransmission yourself by adding this repository - http://repo.insanelyi.com - to Cydia, on your iOS device. If iTransmission works well for you, let us know in the comments!
