Take A Moment To Get A New Paint Job, Try New Challenges, And More In Death Rally v1.4

Remedy is not only keeping their promise of continuously adding content, but they're doing in a more than timely manner. The second update for this month, Death Rally v1.4 adds some new challenges, a few new paint job offerings, new leaderboards and more.
Since it's typically the most anticipated, I'll begin with the new challenges. Both the new Ammo and Dollar challenges simply add more cash and ammunition items to a course. For those like me, who've basically accomplished everything, these aren't terribly exciting beyond a typical race. However, those still working their way through upgrades will find them very useful. Quick cash acquisition means quicker upgrades and more firepower means more destruction for easier wins and more cash from kill counts.
The three new paint jobs for the Sentinel, Shrieker, and Wraith are pretty cool, adding a bit of new flare as you tear around the tracks. Remedy has taken a bit of an advertising path on this one, although, there's no need to worry about it being excessive. All you need to do to unlock these new paint jobs is "like" the Death Rally Facebook page by clicking on the link within the game. Quite painless, don't you think?
Speaking of flare, those trophy loving drivers will be happy to learn they can work up another two leaderboards. What better way to do some bragging than by claiming you have the most kills and victories of all your friends?
I haven't quite figured out the full details of Weapon Overdrive, but I will say it is indeed potent. Using the Shrieker and Wraith in some attempts to get screenshots of the new paint jobs, I noticed health depleted incredibly fast during some races. Even though I have all vehicles fully upgraded, I'm still not completely positive about it being due to Weapon Overdrive, and not just overall weaker vehicles. If you have further info, please feel free to share.
In conclusion, the bug fixes for this release include:
• Fame is now correctly restored based on Game Center information when choosing Restore Progress
• Achievements for unlocking tracks are now given retroactively if they have been unlocked earlier
