In the midst of buzzing industry news and larger app updates, sometimes the small releases get overlooked and left in the wake. One of those very announcements was the availability of "lite" versions of ZombieSmash and ZombieSmash HD late last month.
ZombieSmash Lite and ZombieSmash HD Lite give a peak of the undead destroying mayhem that makes up Game Doctor's acclaimed tower defense game. These trimmed down versions include the first 10 days of the Lost Hills campaign, Endless survival mode, and free play Sandbox mode.
Players can choose to survive the onslaught in Easy, Normal, or Hard difficulties by wielding three different weapons, activating four separate large scale destruction effects, and upgrading defenses. Both lite versions also provide Game Center integration, along with weapon, effects, and defense upgrade abilities.
After enjoying ZombieSmash Lite or ZombieSmash HD Lite, upgrade to the full ZombieSmash or ZombieSmash HD to unlock the complete 30-night Lost Hills, add the adventure of 30 days inside Camp Nowhere, as well as more weapons and effects. ZombieSmash Lite is designed for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 3.1.3 or later and ZombieSmash HD Lite is compatible with iPad running iOS 3.2 or later.
