TECMO BOWL Throwback: Classic Football Fun, Now On The iPhone & iPod Touch!

Great news, sports fans: "TECMO BOWL" - the classic football game - is now available for the iPhone and iPod touch. Currently, TECMO BOWL Throwback, which hit the App Store yesterday, can be purchased for $7.99.
The application itself is an iOS "remake" of the 2010 game, "TECMO Bowl Throwback," which is available for the XBOX 360 and PlayStation 3. In the iPhone version of the game, users can choose to play one of three modes ("Preseason," "Season" or "Allstar") and can control one of 30 teams. It's also possible to "freely choose the members of your All-Star team," according to the app's developer.
With regards to compatibility, TECMO BOWL Throwback can run on third generation iOS device and above (meaning it's incompatible with the original iPhone and iPhone 3G, along with the first and second generation iPod touch models).
