This Weekend Only: Hurry And Get Your Copy Of Death Rally At Its Lowest Price Ever

May 15, 2011
Whether you have big plans for this weekend or not, Remedy Entertainment is looking to make it that much more exciting by offering up Death Rally to their iDevice owning fans at the lowest price ever. Not only is Death Rally at its lowest price ever, but Remedy has set the price as low as it can go -- disregarding making it a free download. Through the remainder of today, get your copy of Death Rally for only $.99. Try to get into a monster truck rally, demolition derby, or even acquire a gallon of gas for that price. A PC classic from 1996, Death Rally is a top-down arcade racer with tons of vehicular destruction. Win races and cause mayhem to earn your way to purchasing some fun upgrades, providing even bigger explosions and flaming vehicle goodness. There's no epic storyline or touching characters, just action-packed racing and adrenaline filled "wait for it" machine gun and missile launching action. The iOS remake provides the same thrills of the original, although greatly intensified with improved graphics, audio, and tons of new content to enjoy. The first three updates have made a lot of improvements, added weapons, new vehicles, new control options, and the most recent update even added a new track. Remedy plans to add Game Center-based online multiplayer through a later update. Death Rally features: • Massive single player career mode, win events, unlock and upgrade cars, weapons and challenges • Awesome controls with two camera angle options • Featuring guest drivers – Duke Nukem, Barry Wheeler, John Gore • Leaderboards and achievements via Game Center • Runs silky smooth 60fps on iPad 2 with full screen anti-aliasing • Free updates including new tracks, cars, weapons and challenges & multiplayer In order to make this rebirth possible, there's a team effort amongst Remedy, Mountain Sheep, and Cornfox & Brothers. Perhaps the names of these developers won't ring a bell, but the games they helped create should seem familiar to many of you. Remedy developed the third-person shooter hits Max Payne, Max Payne 2 - The Fall of Max Payne, and Alan Wake. Even though it's published by Chillingo, Mountain Sheep is the creative mind behind the addictive dual-stick shooter Minigore for iOS. Death Rally is a universal app compatible with iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, 32GB and 64GB third generation iPod touch, fourth generation iPod touch and newer running iOS 3.2 or later, and available in the App Store now at just $.99.
