AppBlaster is a new accessory that users can hook up to their iPhone, and use to shoot aliens and other terrifying creatures in a special augmented reality app called Alien Attack. As you can see in the above screenshot, owners slot their iPhone into appBlaster and use their handset's screen as a viewfinder: The Alien Attack app is an augmented reality game, and therefore uses the iPhone's camera to place foes on the screen, in gamers' actual surroundings. Using the accessory, players can shoot down the foes as if they're using an actual, albeit plastic gun. The accessory is currently available to pre-order from Red5.co.uk for £19.99 (around $32).
