Yesterday, we mentioned one of the keynote's less-discussed features, which will be added in iOS 5 - "AirPlay Mirroring." This interesting feature allows iPad owners (running iOS 5) to wirelessly screen mirror, via AirPlay. And now, we've spotted a video that demonstrates the feature.
We've embedded the video below for you to check out. As you can see, swiping left in the multitasking bar reveals an AirPlay icon. When connecting to an AirPlay-compatible device a new toggle-switch appears, labeled "Mirroring." Touching this activates wireless screen mirroring, allowing iPad users to share their tablet's screen with an HDTV.
This is incredibly cool, mainly because it means that Apple fans will be able to play iOS games on an HDTV. As you can see in the below video, despite the fact that iOS 5 is only in its first beta, AirPlay Mirroring appears to work very well.
Here's the video we found, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments.
