The Elements: A Visual Exploration has recently been updated. Now, the popular iPad app is more stable than ever.
As outlined in the application's release notes, changes made in the latest version (1.0.2.1) include:
This version greatly improves stability. It also includes a new left/right reversed mode for viewing 3D objects, which allows some people to view them without special glasses. Instructions are available through the Help (?) button after double-tapping a rotatable object.If you're not familiar with The Elements, this "visual exploration" makes learning about the periodic table interactive, attractive and - most importantly - fun. Back when Apple released the original iPad, this was one of the definitive apps. It's also available for the iPhone 4, too!
