Foursquare Has 10,000,000 Users, App Gets An Update

The popular check-in service, foursquare, recently announced that it has acquired 10,000,000 users. In celebration, the service updated its iPhone application.
Now, users of the app can enjoy a variety of new features, including a new check-in button, an improved "Explore" tab and various other under-the-hood improvements.
Foursquare itself launched towards the beginning of 2009, and has since proved to be immensely popular. The service allows users to check-in to venues, get "insider tips," earn rewards and even discounts. The application also integrates with Facebook, which is handy.
