Jailbreak Only: How To Enable Gestures In iOS 5, On The Original iPad

While Apple appears to have eliminated gestures in iOS 5 on the first generation iPad, a new method allows users to re-activate the feature - providing they have a jailbroken device.
Fortunately, the process is rather simple. Once you've jailbroken your iPad, navigate over to the following filesystem -
/System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app
- either using a jailbreak application like iFile, or with a Mac OS X application like TextWrangler, and open up the K848AP.plist file. Then, add this text to the file: "multitasking-gestures" (without the quotation marks).
Following this, gestures should be activated on your original iPad. Hopefully, Apple will activate the feature before the final version of iOS 5 is released. If the company doesn't, original iPad owners will obviously have another reason to jailbreak their first generation device.
Let us know if you're a fan of iPad gestures in the comments.
