Good news, jailbreak fans: The popular typing-aid Swype has recently been ported to iOS (by @WyndWarrior), where it is available to download in Cydia for free.
For a while now, the tweak - which allows users to type words on a virtual keyboard simply by dragging a finger from letter to letter - has been available to download on the Android and Windows Mobile platforms for a while. The thing with Swype is that it really is a much-loved tweak, simply because it makes typing on a virtual keyboard a whole lot easier.
Now, Swype is available to download for iOS, meaning jailbroken iPhone owners have no reason to complain about the handset's virtual keyboard ever again. As noted by Jeff of iPhone Download Blog, Swype is compatible with all of Apple's built-in iOS apps (Messages, Mail, Safari etc.), along with a few third-party apps (such as biteSMS).
Furthermore, as mentioned, the tweak is available to download for free, and it's also compatible with all of Apple's iOS devices (including the iPad 2!).
Take a look at Swype in Cydia now, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
