Pitchfork 2011 - The Official iPhone Application, Available Now

July 12, 2011
The Pitchfork Music Festival now has its own official iPhone app. The application (Pitchfork 2011) is currently available to download for free in the App Store, and is natively compatible with the iPhone and iPod touch. Like many other festival iPhone apps, Pitchfork 2011 offers users information on the festival's line-up and venue, and allows iPhone owners to plan their time at Pitchfork Music Festival. The application also allows users to share this schedule with friends. While the application boasts several great, albeit standard "festival app" features, the thing that impresses me most about Pitchfork 2011 is the design of the application. Everything looks and feels great: The user interface is sleek and smooth, and the main screen displays users' personal schedules in an elegant and unique way. The venue map screen looks equally elegant, too. If you're heading to Pitchfork Music Festival this year, be sure to download this app. As mentioned, Pitchfork 2011 is currently available to download in the App Store for free, and is natively compatible with the iPhone and iPod touch.
