Be Graced By Divine Conflict In Gods Arena
Gods Arena (Free) by Cravio is an arena survival game where you must fight as long as you can until death. Once you’re beaten to a bloody pulp, you have to restart, but at least you get to keep your gold and character levels.
You will face off against one or two enemies at a time, slaying them using either a melee or ranged attack. Each enemy you kill awards you a small amount of gold which you can later use to upgrade your weapon. The weapon seems to be the feature of interest here. You can focus on increasing your physical prowess or magical power.
In addition to using your weapon to bash the bad guys or shoot energy bolts from afar, you’re afforded control over a tower in the center of the arena (initially under the floor) which will shoot at your enemies or draw their attention to stop them from attacking you.
After killing a few bad guys intent on getting in your face, you’re confronted by the boss of that level which is fought in much the same way with one exception. When the boss is near death, instead of just dropping dead, the game zooms in and you have to personally deliver the killing blows by slashing her limbs and bashing her head in (well, tapping her head in).
Unfortunately, there is currently only one arena to fight in, one character to fight with and one weapon to bear. However, upon completing that one level, you are shown the developer’s intention to release future updates with additional arenas, characters, weapons and bad guys.
The game is very limited in its current form, but has a lot of potential with the proposed updates. Besides, it’s free so it's worth giving it a try.
