Skyfire Launches New App - Skyfire VideoQ: View Flash Videos You Discover In Safari For iOS

July 29, 2011
Skyfire has recently released a new, universal iOS application that allows users to watch Flash videos they encounter in Safari for iOS. The application, Skyfire VideoQ, is currently available to download in the App Store for $1.99. While Skyfire's other application - Skyfire Web Browser - is an iOS browser that converts Flash content over to HTML5, Skyfire VideoQ allows users to browse the Web in Safari for iOS, and send Flash videos to the application via the "Mail Link to this Page" option. The URL is emailed to users' video "queue," and can be played once Skyfire VideoQ is launched. Furthermore, the application allows users to view the Flash videos of the day, in a "Hot" list that covers a variety of different categories. The application is available to download for $1.99, making it cheaper than both the iPhone and iPad versions of Skyfire's Web browser app. If you're just looking to view Flash videos on an iOS device, Skyfire VideoQ is the application for you. However, if you're interested in viewing more than just videos, consider purchasing and downloading Skyfire Web Browser. And if you do take Skyfire VideoQ for a spin, let us know your thoughts in the comments. [gallery columns="4"]
