Apple Releases iCloud-Enabled iWork Beta Apps For iOS

August 1, 2011
Following the launch of iCloud.com, Apple has just released some special builds of its iOS iWork apps to registered developers on its dedicated iCloud portal. In a nutshell, we're hearing that these new beta version of Pages, Keynote and Numbers are the same apps you already know, but with added iCloud support. Apparently, they come as a 300MB DMG file that developers need to download and then transfer to their devices using Xcode's organizer. We're working on getting our hands on some copies to show you what life is like on the iCloud, and hopefully figure out to which extent these files do really sync and can be accessed from iCloud.com. If you find out anything more in the meantime, make sure to let us know at tips@appadvice.com.
