Apple Releases Updated iCloud Build To Developers As Expected Launch Nears

August 27, 2011
Yesterday, Apple released new developer seeds of OS X Lion, iCloud and iPhoto. According to the release notes, no major changes have been made in the latest versions of the software, and no new beta version of iOS 5 has been released. The new software includes OS X Lion 10.7.2 (build 11C43), iCloud for Lion beta 9 and iPhoto 9.2 beta 3. Apple has asked developers to concentrate their testing on AirPort, AppKit, GraphicsDrivers, iCal, iChat, Mac App Store, Mail, Spotlight and Time Machine. Apple is expected to release a public version of iCloud in fall, alongside the fifth generation iPhone and iOS 5. Ahead of this, we're expecting the company to hold a media event in a couple of weeks, at which the upcoming hardware and software will be demonstrated. We'll keep you posted. [via MacRumors]
