Pocket Clubber Is Coming August 30th - Plus A Pre-Launch Giveaway

August 27, 2011
The team over at Super Boise Studios has scheduled the release of their nest iOS game, Pocket Clubber, for early next week. To celebrate, AppAdvice and Super Boise have once again joined forces to give a handful of our readers the opportunity to experience the fun before anyone else can. Pocket Clubber is a simulation-style game where you create, maintain, and enhance your always ready to party avatar. Choose your gender, a screen name, and then get to coolifying with style changes and expanded dance moves. If you want to be the king of the club scene, it will require dedication and creativity. Using the map, get to the gym to pump some iron and hit the treadmill, laundromat to keep your attire new looking, and tanning salon to preserve that beautiful beach look. Each task involves playing and succeeding at a mini-game. For example, doing the bench press consists of rapidly tapping a button to complete a rep. Completing the designated number of reps will increase the weight. Finishing a set will award you overall experience and category points. Each set gets tougher and tougher but earns more per completion. Earning overall experience increase your character's level. Your level number is very important when finally heading to the club. The level number equals how many "move points" you will have available during a dance battle. After a little improvement, it's time to head out to the club. When you enter the club, the game will attempt to match you with a similar level opponent to battle with. The number of rounds to a battle is not fixed, rather whatever it takes to beat the other player. Each dance move costs a particular number of move points. You can pick and choose, including repeat, any dance moves for the round until you are out of move points. Try to be as creative as possible. To win a battle, earn enough points using dance moves to deplete your opponent's popularity meter. A win will bestow you with money to be used in the store. The store offers additional apparel and hairdos to differentiate your avatar from others. Once an item is purchased, it can be added and removed from your avatar at any time by heading back to the store. Pocket Clubber: GTL is designed for iPhone and iPod touch, and will be available in the App Store on August 30th for $.99. Pocket Clubber HD is compatible with iPad, and will be available in the App Store on August 30th for $1.99. However, read on to find out how to get a copy for free a couple of days early.
