Save The Village By Spilling Zombie Blood In Cut The Zombies
Cut The Zombies: Highly Addictive! (Free) by Touching Dreams is an arcade game which has you slashing zombies to bits to stop them from invading a nearby village. Be careful though, as villagers themselves can be caught in the foray.
Zombies and villagers tumble down from the top of the screen. Zombies must be killed by swiping a finger across them to cut them in half. You’re also thrown the occasional pumpkin which gives extra points. There are two modes to choose from: Arcade and Classic.
In Arcade mode, you have to face a series of progressively more difficult waves and some zombies have to be swiped more than once. If any zombie lands or if you accidentally kill a villager, you lose one of your three lives.
Zombie chunks will accumulate on the floor, so if you get 10 or more, a zombie will resurrect. Be sure to get it very quickly or you’ll lose a life as once a zombie starts walking towards the village, it can no longer be killed. Arcade mode can be restarted from any completed wave.
In Classic mode, there are no waves and every zombie is killed with one swipe. You just have to face an endless stream to earn the highest score you can.
If there are too many zombies on the screen to deal with, you have a kind of emergency button on the bottom right which slashes the entire screen with two thin beams.
The game can be quite gory, since slashing a zombie shows an explosion of blood which can be quite messy when you're dealing with a lot of them. It’s not particularly realistic, but if it bothers you, it can be turned off on the main menu.
Cut the Zombies is not hugely impressive as the game has no real depth or progression, but it can be a mildly entertaining way to pass the time for short periods.
