It might cost $165, but the "LilyPad 2" iPad case can do an awful lot. Not only does it feature a solar cell (meaning you can charge your iPad using sunlight), but the case also features an HDMI output, a stylus, a keyboard stand and a backup battery.
Furthermore, the case is made out of 80 percent recycled materials, meaning you can feel environmentally friendly while using the LilyPad.
The case itself isn't yet available to purchase, as it's gaining funding via Kickstarter. Once $27,000 has been pledged (33 days remain) the project's creator will have the LilyPads manufactured, ready for shipping in October.
Interested? Head on over to Kickstarter, and take a closer look at the product. And if you decide to back the LilyPad 2, let us know in the comments.
