Fox Releases The Cleveland Show Dance Off App For iPad, iPhone, And iPod Touch

Fox Mobile Entertainment has teamed up with Angry Pumpkin to launch The Cleveland Show Dance Off app for iOS. Help the star of Fox's hit animated comedy, The Cleveland Show, spin, glide, moon walk, and otherwise show off his moves in this rhythm-style game.
If you're not familiar, The Cleveland Show is a spin-off of Fox's other hit animated series, Family Guy. One of Griffin's neighbors, Cleveland Brown is an overweight and gullible African-American who stood out of the cartoon cast with his typically calm dialogue but yet occasional outbursts easily identifiable by a somewhat screechy voice.
Cleveland shows a number of the African-American stereotypes, but it's his awkwardness and clumsiness that make him an enjoyable character. As you can hopefully imagine by now, seeing Cleveland try to break dance is pretty hilarious. The Cleveland Show Dance Off app has Mr. Brown performing up to 20 different dance moves in an attempt to get the highest score.
A bit different from some other rhythm-based games, it takes both taps and slides to help Cleveland perform his moves. Precisely timed taps on targets, keeping up with slides, and quick swipes for spins will earn the most points. It requires a certain score to unlock future levels. Competition is provided through Game Center leaderboards and achievements. As an added bonus, the game does include four differently dressed and undressed Clevelands, although, three of the four will cost you $.99 each.
