MotionX GPS Drive HD Is Updated

The popular, MotionX GPS Drive HD by Fillpower Technologies, has just been updated. If you have used the app before, either on your 3G enabled iPad or your iPhone, you know there are already some great features in this handy navigation tool. The updated iPad HD version now includes real time traffic and shows traffic incidents and icons. This partnership with Inrix, will possibly help save you from the hassle of getting stuck in traffic. By touching an icon on the screen, a pop-up window will appear, and will explain the traffic snarl. You will receive information on accidents, sporting events, concerts, road construction and more. While navigating to your destination, you can quickly access the traffic map by pressing the traffic button.

MotionX GPS Drive HD is a decent app for providing driving directions, and it does more than basic navigation. The app has built in integration with Wikipedia, so you can learn the stories and history about the places around you. This comes in handy, especially when you are a tourist in a new city.

This is in addition to basic navigation functions like address lookup and locators for different establishments such as: hospitals, restaurants and shopping. You can also access your music library without leaving the app, so you are never without your favorite song.
