If you're looking for a jailbreak app that can act like a Finder application for iPhone, then iFile is the package you need. Currently, the jailbreak application is available to download in Cydia, and now, its developer has taken to the stage at MyGreatFest.
Already, the application is fully featured and supports both the iPhone and iPod touch, and the iPad. This summer, iFile gained Dropbox support, but the app's developer isn't stopping there. In the future, iFile's developer is planning on adding the following features to the application, as outlined in the developer's slideshow:
Interestingly, the peaks in iFile's download statistics coincide with new jailbreak releases. There have been a total of 11.5 million downloads for all versions of the app, while the current version (1.6.1-1) has been downloaded over 750,000 times. There are 380 unique devices using a "cracked" version of iFile - but the developer isn't bitter. Instead, he's grateful the number is so small, and has even noted that anybody at MyGreatFest running a cracked version of iFile will be given a free license for the app. [Updating]
