Stay Up To Date With Your Facebook Friend's Media By Using Pixable
Pixable for iPhone (Free) by Pixable is an app to keep you on top of the best photos and videos shared by your friends on Facebook.
With the massive uproar of Facebook users complaining (again) about a new design and other updates, an app to keep you updated in a simple manner may be welcomed warmly.
With Pixable, you can view your friends feeds of photos by category: top of the week/month, photos you personally have liked, new profile pictures, videos, and many more. You even have the option to browse your own photo albums.
Easily browse the photos and videos by flicking through them. If you come across any you want to share, doing so is just a click away. Share via email, Twitter, Facebook — or just save it to your device.
If you would like to be alerted every time a specific person updates or is tagged in a new photo, you can follow them and be automatically kept in the loop.
You can comment and like the photos and videos within the app and it will automatically do so on Facebook itself. So, instead of worrying about using Facebook on the Web or even a — ahem, crappy — Facebook mobile app, you can just keep up with your friends media this way.
You will receive daily email updates showing the top three photos of your feed for the day. You can turn this off though, if you would rather just use the app without clogging your inbox. Just click on "Email Settings Page" on the bottom of one of the emails and you can modify what you're emailed about — including others who are using the app and following you (of your Facebook friends).
To be clear, this isn't a full featured Facebook app. This solely shows you photos and videos. So, if you're looking for status updates and farm animal games, this is not for you. But if you would just like to keep up to date with recent photos and video, this does the job. It has an easy to use interface and does what it says well.
Pixable is available for all of your iDevices for free in the App Store.
