Stand Up For Yourself As The Schoolyard Bully Gets What's Coming To Him During Recess

Recess™ (Free) by Lunch Money is a poorly written arcade game with very limited gameplay. You’re asked to give the playground bully a taste of his own medicine by throwing large red balls at his head while taking account of wind direction.

So there he stands, looking as mean as possible, with a large cloud above his head that blows wind in a certain direction. At the mouth of the cloud, you’re given a number to show the strength of the wind. Use a finger to swipe from the ball across the screen to launch said ball at the bully’s head.

When the ball hits, his head flies back and his face scrunches up. Miss and he’ll either laugh or press his hand against his forehead with his thumb and index finger forming an "L" to call you a loser. Your maximum number of hits in a row forms your high score.

Hitting your target can be a little challenging thanks to the wind. Where this game really fails is in the number of times you’re allowed to throw the ball.

On the top right, the remaining token number is displayed. You get one throw for each token. Initially, you’re given 75 tokens for free, but once they run out you have to purchase more at the rate of 30 for $0.99. That is ridiculously expensive.

You have to pay an amount which is equivalent to the full purchase price of many apps just to have 30 turns in this one game? What a joke. Avoid this app.
