Twitter's Jack Dorsey To Developers: Take Advantage Of iOS 5's Twitter Integration Feature

In a note to developers, Twitter's Jack Dorsey (@jack) described Twitter integration in Apple's iOS 5 as "an opportunity for us, together, to take the ecosystem to a new level."
Apple has recently made it possible for iOS developers to integrate Twitter within their own third party apps. In the iOS, users will be able to tweet a message from within the Photos app, Contacts app and more once the operating system launches this fall. However, with developers on board, Twitter integration will be present within a wide variety of third party apps, too, meaning the social network truly will be "deeply integrated" within the iOS.
It's unsurprising, therefore, that Jack Dorsey (the creator of Twitter) is urging developers to implement Twitter integration within third party apps. He writes:
Very soon, anywhere there’s an iPhone or an iPad, you’ll always find Twitter. If you’re an iOS developer, you can add Twitter to your application to personalize the experience for your users, giving them easier and better ways to login, enrich their experience, share thoughts and content and help boost your distribution. This push could mean that by the time iOS 5 launches, many of your favorite applications will be ready to take advantage of the feature. We'll keep you posted. And to read Jack Dorsey's original note, click this link.
