Apple Online Store iPhone 4S Orders Now Shipping In 1-2 Weeks

Bad news if you were hoping to grab an iPhone 4S on October 14, but haven't yet preordered one. In the Apple Online Store (for both the United States, and internationally), shipping estimates for Apple's recently announced handset have slipped to "1-2 weeks."
As you can see in the below screenshot (taken from the U.S. Apple Online Store), shipping estimates have indeed increased - and the time period is only going to get bigger as each day passes, until Apple has caught up with the demand for the smart phone.
