Apple's "Find My Friends" App Is Now Available To Download [Updated]

October 12, 2011
Apple has just released its Find My Friends application in the App Store. Apple announced the free application at its iPhone media event last Tuesday. The app, which allows iCloud users to share their location with friends via an iOS device, is universal and available to download for free. However, as of this moment we can't find the application in Apple's App Store via a search. Instead, we were able to download the app via the link Apple has provided at http://icloud.com. This should take you over to the App Store, where you'll be able to download the universal app for free. In order to use Find My Friends you must be running iOS 5 and have an iCloud account. Both iOS 5 and iCloud are expected to launch later today. Update Here's a link for the application in the U.S. App Store. And below, I've included some screenshots of the application running on my iPhone 4 and iPad 2. [gallery columns="4"]
