Cut The Rope Just Got A Little More Manly With The Addition Of The Tool Box

October 14, 2011
After a few month break, On Nom is back. Cut the Rope and Cut the Rope HD v1.5 arrived in the App Store yesterday adding more puzzling levels and another instrument to feed our favorite candy muncher. As always, the new items are delivered via a well packaged box. The Tool Box contains a couple dozen levels to complete, another On Nom drawing, and an additional gameplay element. The included tool is a saw, which may seem obvious. Tap on the saw(s) to spin them when needed. Of course, older items like sliders, bubbles, air guns, magic hats, and so on continue to be part of the action. The Tool Box isn't the only thing to appear in Cut the Rope and Cut the Rope HD v1.5. In the box selection area, there is now a scrollbar to help with navigation amongst the boxes and boxes that have been fully completed are stamped with "Perfect Box." The maintenance portion consists of tweaks to progress reset, Crystal social network integration update, and iOS 5 support. Cut the Rope is designed for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 3.0 or later, and available in the App Store for $.99. Cut the Rope HD is compatible with iPad running iOS 3.2 or later, and available in the App Store for $1.99.
