Jailbreak Only: SemiTether - Reboot Your Tethered Jailbroken iPhone Without A Computer

A new jailbreak package called "SemiTether" has just been released in Cydia, which allows tethered-jailbroken iOS device users to reboot their device without having to plug it into a computer.
Currently, the only jailbreak solution available for iOS 5 is a "tethered solution." Unfortunately, a tethered-jailbroken iPhone, iPad and iPod touch will need to be connected to a computer and booted using redsn0w if reboots.
However, with "SemiTether," users can apply a "semi-tethered jailbreak solution" to their iOS device. This solution is still tethered, but it means users who have installed the "SemiTether" package won't have to connect to a computer and boot via redsn0w if their iOS device needs to be rebooted. Not all jailbreak apps or stock apps will work following the reboot, but you will have your iPhone back, which is undoubtedly a big plus.
We'll publish a how-to guide later today, explaining how to apply a semi-tethered jailbreak solution to your iOS device. In the meantime, let us know if you've already tried this method yourself in the comments. The "SemiTether" jailbreak package is currently available to download in Cydia for free. Just be sure to add the following source in Cydia: "http://thebigboss.org/semitether."
