You'll Need A Quick, Precise Hand To Get This Spaceship To Where It's Going In DoodleCraft Earth
DoodleCraft Earth ($0.99) by OrionSoft is an arcade game that has you piloting a paper-cutout of a ship to an apron, while trying to collect as many stars along the way as possible. “Why an apron?” you ask; I have no idea.
The screen is split up into three sections by invisible lines. Pressing the top half will fire the ship’s bottom rocket, accelerating it upward. Press the bottom left and right quarters to accelerate the ship in either of those directions.
In getting to the apron and collecting stars, you’ll have to be careful of the edges of the screen and any walls in your way. Touching either will cause you to explode; you’ll also have to do all of this within the given time limit.
DoodleCraft Earth comes free, but with limited levels. You can unlock 30 levels and have unlimited lives by making in-app purchases for $0.99 each.
This app makes for a fun game, its challenge adds to the replayability. Requiring in-app purchases is unfortunate, but it starts off free so give it a go and see what you make of it.
