Hurry Up Bob! 2 (Free) by LPR Productions is a game where Bob has to jump ever higher to escape the rising acid pool that inexplicably appeared beneath him while searching through a pyramid. Additionally, he’ll have to deal with enemies as he climbs to safety.
You can move Bob left or right by tapping the movement buttons or by tilting, while jumping is always by button only. Soon after you start, you’ll be given an attack button too which allows you to axe to death all that stand in your way.
Fall off of any platform or touch any enemy and it’s game over.
You’ll be given access to additional items such as a laser gun and hearts which replenish your health, but neither of these are usable in the free version. You will have to upgrade for $0.99.
Bob’s movements are a bit awkward and tricky to get used to at first, but you’ll get there soon enough.
Hurry Up Bob! 2 has a fair amount to offer in fast-paced action and the upgrade cost is quite small. If you enjoy this game, you might also want to check out the original Hurry Up Bob!, which has lava instead of acid.
