Journey Home ($1.99) by Tao Fa Co. Ltd. is an arcade game which entails guiding a spaceship home around various obstacles, such as stars and planets, while also collecting power cells. Initially, you can fire your rockets only once as you’re low on fuel.
You’re shown an image of space with a blackhole-like object somewhere on it. That’s your destination, although you won’t always be able to see it when you actually fire up your ship. You’ll also see the obstacles you have to navigate and the power cells to be picked up.
Tap the screen in the direction you want to go, and then all that’s left is for you to see what happens. You’ll either make it there safely or crash into something.
There is some fun to be had here despite the small amount of interaction asked of you. If you aren’t certain, try out the lite version first, which gives you the first set of levels for free.
