Get Your Stars In A Row And Your Colors In A Group With Star Shaped Block
Star Shaped Block ($0.99) by SH Kim is a puzzle game that functions similar to Tetris, but rather than having blocks of different shapes to fit together, you have stars of different colors to match up.
Stars fall in rows of five and can initially be made up of three colors. The rows can be shifted to the left or right, and cycled through the edge of the screen or made to drop down very rapidly.
Once five or more stars of a given color are adjacent to each other, they’ll be removed from the board, adding to your score. As you go up levels, the numbers of colors you have to work with will increase while the number of stars falling down will decrease.
The challenge in the initial stages is somewhat lacking. This game may never be as fun as Tetris, but with higher levels you may very well find yourself working a lot harder and having more fun.
You can try the lite version first to see if it’s for you, but it’s limited to two levels so you may not be able to appreciate it fully.
