Pick Out Letters In The Correct Order Before You Run Out Of Space In Word Overflow
Word Overflow (Free) by Paw Apps LLC is a spelling game that has letters falling down from above. You have to spell out words as quickly as possible before being overwhelmed.
As letters fall, you may immediately start using them to create words.
The letters have to be tapped in the correct order, if you make a mistake use the orange button on the right as a backspace to correct yourself.
Once you’ve decided the word is correct, press the green button to submit and add to your score. The letters you chose will immediately disappear, allowing letters above to settle down and clear up some space.
If the letters get too high and even one falls over the sides, it’s game over.
The game can be downloaded for free, but there are in-app purchases to improve gameplay. You can buy the Multiplier and Destroyer add-ons which will increase your points and destroy surrounding letters five and 10 percent of the time. They are a one time purchase and cost $0.99 each.
There is also the Annihilator and Level Pack: Spinners add-ons for $1.99 each. The first will give a letter two percent of the time that destroys every other letter on the board when used. The second will give three new packs with spinning obstacles that increase the challenge.
Word Overflow is a fun challenge that will enthuse word puzzle lovers. It’s unfortunate that the game has to be expanded with so many additional purchases.
