Readdle Adds Better Handwriting, iOS 5 Support, And More Stamps To The Latest PDF Expert For iPad
October 12, 2011
After introducing an overhauled user interface and several features last month, Readdle has come back with a smaller update to expand and refine current features of their acclaimed PDF app. PDF Expert v3.1 adds more stamp options, redesigned search results, more realistic handwriting, and iOS 5 support.
When Readdle added stamps to PDF Expert, they included most of the common ones: sign here, a checkmark, revised, initial here, void, and so on. However, there is no way the company could anticipate every need for every profession. Therefore, a custom stamp option has been added. Create text stamps in red, green, blue, or grey with optional time and date inclusion. If you use frequently include something beyond standard text, create a stamp using any image from your photo library or camera roll.
If you're more of a freehand annotator, PDF Expert v3.1 should make you feel a little better about jotting notes on your documents due to smoother and more realistic handwriting performance.
And finally, those upgrading to iOS 5 will experience the new operating system's improved dictionary features when selecting text.
PDF Expert is compatible with iPad running iOS 4.0 or later, and available in the App Store for $9.99.
