British Apple Fans Can Now Enjoy Live TV On An iOS Device For Free

November 28, 2011
A great website has just come to our attention called "TeeVeePlayr," which allows British Apple fans to watch live TV on an iOS device for free. You can access a whole load of UK TV channels (after registering with the service) on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with an Internet connection. Once you've signed up and logged in to the service, touching a channel from the selection presented will, after an ad plays, open a live stream. (You might be directed over to TVCatchup, another website, when playing a video - don't worry, this website worked fine for us and didn't require a paid account either.) The quality of the live streams is good enough (not perfect, but you can't complain when it's free, can you?), and it's also possible to pause streams on an iOS device. If you live in the United Kingdom it's also possible to view the BBC's channels on an iPad for free using the BBC iPlayer app. However, if you want to enjoy channels such as ITV, Channel 4 and Dave, take a look at this service now, and be sure to let us know how it works for you in the comments. [Thanks Billy for the tip!]
