Infinity Blade II Now Available In The New Zealand App Store - Expect It To Arrive In America Tonight

November 30, 2011
Epic Games' highly anticipated Infinity Blade II has just appeared in the New Zealand App Store, meaning the application should be available in the United States at around midnight tonight depending on where you live. The application, which is optimized for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2, is a universal app and carries on from where the original left off. As outlined in Infinity Blade II's release notes:
The God King has been defeated, an unlikely hero has emerged and now you must discover the truth behind the secrets of the Infinity Blade. The continuing journey of young Siris unfolds as you delve deeper into the world of the Deathless tyrants and their legion of Titans. Can you unlock all the mysteries and successfully wield the power of the Infinity Blade in this timeless sword fighting adventure of champions and villains?
Like the original, Infinity Blade II is powered by Epic Games' Unreal Engine for iOS, which is responsible for both apps' high quality graphics and impressive lighting effects. However, the iPhone 4S's dual-core A5 processor means playing Infinity Blade II on this handset will surely be an amazing experience. We'll let you know when Infinity Blade II is available in the U.S. App Store. In the meantime, Apple fans in New Zealand can purchase and download the app for NZ$9.99. Once Infinity Blade II reaches the U.S., it should be available for $6.99. [via Pocket Gamer]
