You'll Need Some Serious Brain Power To Unlock Puzzles In Luban Lock
LuBan Lock (Free) by Game Colt Studio is a fantastic three-dimensional puzzle game that gives you an object made up of various interlocking pieces. Your job is to “unlock” the puzzle by separating all the pieces from each other.
The objects range from clean-looking cubes to more exotic shapes. In every case, you can rotate the object by swiping a finger from the edge of the screen in the direction you want.
If you try to swipe from the object itself, you’ll effectively be trying to grab hold of an individual piece in an effort to pull it out or move it somewhere.
Discerning one piece from the other is easy. They each have their own color and sound. Every time you touch one of them, a distinct piano note will play.
I encountered a bug only once where, after having unlocked a puzzle, the game would not recognize that it had been solved. All other attempts functioned properly.
Luban Lock is a rather unique game considering many of the puzzles released for the iPhone, and it's immense fun to play. Unfortunately, there are only 12 puzzles to unlock, but some of them are very challenging and the game does come free.
