Top Camera Gets New Features In A Big Update

One of our favorite all-in-one photograhy and editing apps, Top Camera, just keeps getting better. The newest update includes sought-after features such as video zoom and a sound-activated shutter! Since our original review, the app has gotten a number of feature-filled updates. The developer explained to me how the new video zoom feature in the latest update works (click here to see it in action): “The fact is there are few apps that support video zoom, but in those apps the final movie has very poor quality, fps number is almost 2x smaller, low resolution etc, so for me they are useless. Top Camera uses a completely different approach - in effect video with zoom keeps the original quality, resolution, does not drop frames. Of course it is digital zoom, so if user zooms in too much, the quality will decrease a bit. The little disadvantage is that before you send by email/share/save in 'Photos' video with zoom, the app must "render" it, which takes a little time (but there is a progress bar).” He also told me how he uses the sound-activated shutter: “Another interesting feature added to Top Camera is "sound" activated shutter.
