Contacts Sync For Google Mail: Sync Your Gmail Contacts With Your iPhone

December 30, 2011
Contacts Sync For Google Mail ($2.99) is a recently updated application that, as its name suggests, allows Apple fans to sync their contacts between a Google Mail account and an iPhone or iPod touch. The application supports two-way sync, meaning new contacts added either to Google Mail or to an iPhone will be synced-up with the other. Furthermore, it's possible to configure exactly how the application syncs one's contacts, which is a great feature. As outlined in the app's release notes:
"Contacts Sync For Google Gmail" allows you to quickly & easily sync your Gmail & iPhone contacts so you can have access to your contacts wherever you go. This app stands out from the competition with its reliability, ease of use, speed, and with a true "2-way sync" that allows you to merge changes you've made to your Gmail & iPhone contacts.
Additionally, changes made in the recent update include:
  • Contact photos are more reliably uploaded to Gmail
  • Option to "force update all contacts"
  • Job title & department fields are synced
  • Other minor improvements
Currently, Contacts Sync For Google Mail is available to download in the App Store for $2.99. Take a look at the application now, and be sure to post your thoughts in the comments.
