Cover Orange Celebrates Its One Year Anniversary With A Big Update To v2.0

December 16, 2011
A tiny bit more than a year has gone by since FDG Entertainment placed the cheerful but skeptical oranges of Cover Orange into the hands of iPhone owners. On this occasion, FDG has added over three dozen new levels and a new in-app purchase item to both the iPhone and iPad apps. While it's typical for the game to be updated with 20 new levels, one new stage, every couple of months, yesterday's release added a very kind 40 more levels for fans to conquer. Indeed, the extra could and should be taken as a sort of gift. However, I see it as no coincidence that doubling the normal update amount puts the game at a nice and even 300 total levels. Beyond the extra content, Cover Orange v2.0 also adds a $4.99 "unlimited helmet" in-app purchase choice for anyone willing to spend some money to make things a bit easier on themselves. For those unaware, Cover Orange is a physics puzzler where you must protect all of the oranges from the devastating toxic rain of the evil storm cloud. As each item is offered at the top of the screen, drag it into the position you think it should go, then release to drop it. Remember, this is a physics puzzler, therefore, items will bounce and roll when colliding with other objects. Cover Orange is designed for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 3.1 or later, and available in the App Store for $0.99. Cover Orange HD is compatible with iPad running iOS 3.2 or later, and available in the App Store for $1.99.
