Betel Nut Games, in association with Super Boise Studios, are about to turn the local park into a canine war zone. See the dog, be the dog, and take the poop in Dog Park: Top Dog, an upcoming arcade strategy game where being "top dog" is more than just a phrase. And best of all, Super Boise is offering our readers a chance to jump into the furry excitement for absolutely free.
Enter the realm of the dog park, where territory is king. Your mission: Travel around the many different parks and mark lampposts, fire hydrants, hot dog stands, cars, statues, and much more using your streaming yellow weapon of distinction, urine. Outwit your enemies, the other neighborhood dogs, in a battle of lapping, sprinting, and peeing to claim the most territories before the time expires. Not only will you need to mark new spots but it's also possible to overtake those already designated by other pets.
Your journey begins by choosing one of three available dogs. Each canine has a brief bio providing general characteristics that help you weigh the advantages and disadvantages of utilizing that breed. As you progress through story mode, you will unlock additional four legged soldiers to choose from.
Navigate your pooch around the park with a finger or thumb drag and fend off the other dogs with an intimidating bark or bite. However, It takes more than defense to win a war. Make magnificent mounds of poop to lure other dogs away while you continue on your marking way. Earn coins to buy power-ups, such as big gulp and quick run, to outpace the tail wagging competition. But most importantly it's about freeing the pee. Keep watch on the hydration and stamina meters in the top-left. When running low on fluids, head to a nearby pond or fountain to refill.

After conquering story mode, take on the challenges of the bonus maps to prove you are the top dog. Revisit previously completed levels using new pets and strategies to earn an even higher score and hold your position on the Game Center leaderboard.
