Today On Festivus: TV Show Tracker, Touchnote Postcards, And Samurai Bloodshow
December 7, 2011
Got a case of the midweek blues? We have just the thing to cheer you up -- another round of Festivus prizes! Today you have the chance to win Pixel-Perfect Widgets' TV Show Tracker for iPhone, printed postcards for Touchnote's Touchnote Postcards for iPad, and Sega's Samurai Bloodshow for both iPhone and iPad.
An app for TV junkies
Missing your favorite TV shows can be absolutely heartbreaking, so we're going to try and save you from your own self inflicted pain by giving you a chance to win TV Show Tracker. As its name alludes, TV Show Tracker allows you to discover every last episode ever created for your favorite TV shows, and then reminds you of their next air times via push notifications. It also provides you with quick overviews for each episode, the ability to mark watched episodes, and even direct links to episodes in iTunes in case you still somehow miss one.
TV Show Tracker for iPhone is available for $1.99.
An app that will help you reach out and touch someone
Sending out cards for the holidays can become very expensive, especially if you're the type of person who sends them to everyone you know, even your long lost third cousin. But a select few of you won't have to worry so much about the rising cost of stamps this year since we're giving away 20 5-pack sets of postcards for Touchnote Postcards. The app allows you to customize and personalize postcards on your iPad, and have the glassy, full-sized cards of joy shipped off and delivered within 1-4 working days without ever having to leave the house.
Touchnote Postcards is available for free, and you can buy and ship printed postcards in-app for $1.49 each.
A game that puts on a good bloodshow
Wars are violent and dangerous, but when they are played out on a game board and with decks of trading cards they can actually be very entertaining, and that's exactly what Samurai Bloodshow is. The game combines trading card and castle defense elements to create one of the more compelling turn-based games you'll probably play on your iDevice. As you wage war on beautiful painted scroll battlefields, you'll be required to deploy up to 60 different cards from you deck to keep your general safe while trying to take down your opponent's. Speaking of opponents, you won't have many troubles finding one since the game supports local two-player multiplayer via Bluetooth and global multiplayer via Game Center.
Samurai Bloodshow for iPhone and iPad is available for $0.99.
