Word Lens (free) has recently received an update. Now, users of the application (which, using augmented reality, can translate text in real time) can purchase and download a French language pack, allowing users to translate English into French and French into English in a matter of seconds, using their iOS device's camera.
The application really is impressive, and already supports the Spanish language. The most recent update means students studying French will now find their homework a lot easier to complete, provided they've got $9.99 to spend on one of the two new language packs.
For more information on Word Lens take a look at the application in the App Store. You can download the app for free, though as mentioned, individual language packs will cost $9.99 each.
