AT&T Announces Q4 Results: 81 Percent Of Activations Were iPhones

January 26, 2012
AT&T has recently announced its Q4 financial results, noting that it saw a huge increase in smart phone activations. Furthermore, the carrier stated that a massive 81 percent of its sales from the last quarter were iPhone handsets, which is - to be honest - rather a little bit crazy. The carrier activated a total of 9.4 million smart phones during the quarter, with 7.6 million of these handsets being iPhones. It was AT&T's best-ever quarter for iPhone activations. In comparison, Verizon activated 4.3 million iPhone handsets, while Sprint's results haven't yet hit the Web. As always, we'll be sure to keep you posted - so check back with us for more news regarding the Q4 sales. [via The Next Web]
