Jailbreak Only: iOS Hackers Unite To Develop Untether Exploit For iPhone 4S

Three elite iOS hackers have joined forces with @pod2g in a bid to develop an exploit for the dual-core Apple A5 processor.
In a post that recently appeared on @pod2g's blog, the hacker notes that @planetbeing, @MuscleNerd and @p0sixninja are now actively contributing to "A5 research," as developing an exploit that can untether the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 under iOS 5.0.1 has, thus far, proved to be a difficult task.
The blog post reads:
@planetbeing, the legendary hacker behind iPhone Linux and lot of jailbreaks (seehttp://theiphonewiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=User:Planetbeing) has joined the A5 research!
The famous @MuscleNerd (http://theiphonewiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=User:MuscleNerd), the leader of the iPhone Dev Team, who did a lot of tests for Corona and whom integrated it and made it simple in redsn0w is willing to help also.
And last, but not least @p0sixninja (http://theiphonewiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=User:Posixninja), the leader of the Chronic Dev Team, and my partner for years on iPhone security research has started to code and fuzz the Apple sandbox.
We now have a dream team to find a path for a public release of the A5 jailbreak.
Cross your fingers. The team will presumably work together, testing and developing the A5 exploit @pod2g has already uncovered. As @pod2g notes, "keep your fingers crossed," and we'll be sure to update you if any more news regarding the A5 exploit hits the Web.
