Jailbreak Only: Ipsum - Dismiss Lock Screen Notifications With A Double-Swipe

January 8, 2012
Ipsum is a new jailbreak tweak that allows users to easily dismiss Lock screen notifications with a double-swipe. It's simple: once Ipsum has been downloaded and installed, swiping a pop-up notification's app icon to the right and then left will dismiss it. In the past, unread notifications would have built up at the top of the Lock screen, unless users read pop-up notifications as they appear. Though notifications for applications can be configured in the Settings app, there isn't an "official" way to dismiss notifications without reading them - which is why Ipsum is so useful. Currently, Ipsum is available to download for free in the Cydia Store. Take a look at the jailbreak tweak now, and be sure to post your thoughts in the comments.
