Macworld 2012: Paint A Perfect Picture With The iPad Nomad Brush
January 27, 2012
Some of the more unique iDevice styli -- the Nomad Brushes by, well, Nomad Brush -- are making the rounds at this year's Macworld. While the products aren't actually new (the company and its lineup just celebrated their one year anniversary), Nomad Brush is using its trade show time to showcase their capacitive, bristle-tipped solutions.
With artists on hand to demonstrate the finer points of painting in iOS, it's easy to see how a proper stylus really does have a place in Apple's mobile world. Check out Robin scribble and giggle in our video demonstration:
Nomad Brush offers four different models of styli. The Nomad Compose ($39) is designed for regular iPad use, while the thinner Nomad Mil ($24) is crafted for precision iPad use. Both are available in either long-tip or short-tip configurations. The Nomad Play ($18) is a kid-centric iPad stylus, complete with fat handles and playful engravings, and the Nomad Mini ($19.99) brings up the rear as the smallest version of the quartet, specifically made for use with iPhone and iPod touch.
These are certainly among the best capacitive styli you can get, but the oStylus is still number one.
