Get To The Point And Roll Your Own Stylus With Interesting Kickstarter

While the stylus is quickly turning into as ubiquitous of an accessory for the iPad as a case, a new Kickstarter project is putting a magnetic spin on the writing instrument.
The Motive Stylus is highlighted by its ability to easily attach to Apple’s Smart Cover for the iPad. It does this by rolling flat and magnetically securing to the cover. When you’re ready to use the stylus, you can simply remove it from the cover and roll it together.
Along with that unique aspect, the stylus also comes with two tips. The soft tip provides some feedback for the user while the hard version has a firmer feel. The tips can be switched at will by unscrewing them.
For a $30 pledge, you can score one Motive Stylus in your color choice of black, silver, red, or blue. With two weeks left to go, the project has secured a little more than $15,000 of its $85,000 goal. If funding is successful, estimated delivery is in October.

I think the Motive Stylus looks interesting, and definitely has some unique traits. That being said, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my Cosmonaut stylus that our own Christine Chan reviewed earlier this year. But just like a case, choosing a stylus really boils down to personal taste.
