Take Command Of Note-Taking With myDeskNoteHD

myDeskNoteHD by AGDESIGN iconmyDeskNoteHD ($0.99) by AGDESIGN provides a plethora of note-taking possibilities. Anything from basic notes, calendars, comic strips, and games, like sudoku and hangman, can easily be created.
myDeskNoteHD by AGDESIGN screenshotThe app behaves the way you would expect it to. You can load the different paper background templates, and then mark them up however you see fit. Select any picture from your camera or photo album that you’d like to include, as well as drawing and adding text. “Super paper” is also available in the form of Google maps that can be drawn on, as well as a Web browser for taking screenshots of websites. The drawing width and color can be changed, and there are different font options as well. All of the icons in the interface speak for themselves as to what they do, but a help section (in the form of a question mark) is also available. Sharing is available through email, printing, or saving to your photo album. My main critique of the app is the lack of a pointer or selection tool. Anything that's put on to the canvas is set where you left it. That means if you type up text in what the app calls a “text box,” you would have to hit the return key until you put the cursor where you’d like to type. This is opposed to putting a box anywhere and being able to drag it later (like in Pages). An undo button would be nice, too. However, this app still offers a wide range of uses (as evidenced by the screenshots below). If you were so inclined, you could even make a reminder note and save it as your iPad’s wallpaper (for those who might have an aversion to the Reminders app).
